You know I talk to these Elder Dudes on occasion, who I call the Jedi. One says to me, you know why we don’t have clocks Andy? I said why is that? They said we live each day as if it is an entire lifetime. When you wake up the next day, you may be living an entirely different life, complete with different memories and you wouldn’t even know it. So, we live each day as if it is an entire life. That same Elder told me if you don’t like the movie, you are watching Andy? click the button and change the channel. It is really that easy. You are a creative being, choose whatever suits you. You have the power to choose. You can star in a romantic comedy or an adventure movie or sci-fi movie or a feel-good wholesome family lifetime special. Choose whatever suits you.
I was thinking about that last night while watching T.V., So, I changed the channel to a Romantic Comedy Adventure Movie Titled: Into the Blue with Jesica Alba and Paul Walker. In that movie the two stars find a massive treasure in a sunken ship down somewhere near the Bahamas. Seems to me like a good life and a good fit for me. And so it came to pass.
I love that perspective on life.
A couple days ago, I found this little booklet and it has this poem on the last page. I hadn’t read this in years.
Part of my morning rituals comes from this poem. I thought to include it. It is so true. Although I am never alone, God is always with me. When I have on those, rare moment of feeling lost and confused by the way things are going, or I feel out of sync? I have learned to pause and look around and see the effects of GOD in Spirit form being displayed in the world around me. There merge into them and instantly enter into God and God enters inside me then I proceed with assurance.
Sometimes I just pause to witness the flow in the world, then merge back in it. I do this several times a day. It’s like watching the spirit move like the wind from this tree to that tree and then sway the reeds over there in that field. The effects of love and dialogs in the people around me. The constant chatter of humanity, seldom heard by many, only those who stop to listen. Understanding the future is really easy. If you listen to how people are talking in the world around, you. One couple at this store talking about this shaking something and another group at an entirely different place talking between themselves about land line phones and the couple behind them talking about that is going to shake things up, and another group later chatting away about this and that relating to lay lines later in the day and see how the spirit is working through them all, communicating to the whole of humanity…. and when you pause and think, oh there is going to be an earthquake soon. Thanks for the heads up. but seldom do most people stop and listen. I have learned to listen, and it has helped me tremendously walk through life.
We all have our morning rituals. Mine are pretty simple. I wake up every morning praising God. I Praise God for His goodness as I fall asleep, no matter how I feel about anything, I fall asleep with an attitude of gratitude, saying Thank You God, or singing some old hymnal and upon awakening I am still praising God. My Mind will do it all night long while I sleep. I can be doing anything and its always there running in the background. Last night I was singing Sweet Chariot as I fell asleep and upon awakening, I was still singing it. My soul will be singing in the background while I am having complete conversations and doing tasks. It just does it on its own. I can hear it the whole time as I am engaged in life.
Upon awakening, I lay in bed for a few minutes and then I leap out of bed and start dancing and say, Thank you God for another day of creation! I am excited to see what You have planned for the day! I am open to receive all that you have for me! I go wash my face in the sink, brush my teeth, look in the mirror and say Grand Rising, Friend! Today is going be an amazing day! We are going to do the most wonderful things! Then walk back in the bedroom and make my bed, walk over to the blinds, as I rip them open and say, let there be light! Even those this is a direct quote from a line from the Book of Genisis, I actually incorporated this from the book Titled: The Kybalion, Chapter Title Hermetic Axioms, “We don’t shovel and sweep out darkness, we simply open the blinds and let the light do what it does.” Then I grab a cup of coffee, one of my many meditation books and sit down and start to read. I have a list of people I pray for every day, and I am included on that list, I am the last person I pray for in that long list. I read some other things, then I sit quietly think about the day ahead and write whatever comes to mind down. I do this every morning 7 days a week and have for over 30 years. I do some things different depending on my environment but how I fall asleep and what I do first thing is the same. I adjust it as I incorporate other things time to time. The part of my morning ritual Grand Rising, Friend! Today is going be an amazing day! We are going to do the most wonderful things! comes from this poem.
The Man in the Glass was written in 1934, by Dale Wimbrow
When you get what you want in your struggle for Wealth
And the world makes you king for a day
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say.
For it isn’t your father, or mother, or wife
Whose judgment upon you must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.
He’s the fellow to please – never mind all the rest
For he’s with you, clear to the end
And you’ve passed your most difficult, dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you’ve cheated the man in the glass.
I am making adjustments and doing some new activities. I been going to bed late and sleeping with no alarm until whenever I wake up for the last few months. My mother said to me last night. ~Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise~ Uhmmm Yes Mam! Thanks for the reminder, Momma
Today is page 2 of a 365-page book.
